First Congregational Church Missions

Last year our little starter church gave more than $12,000 to various missions here in Central Florida and around the world.  We also contributed hundreds of pounds of food, hundreds of mittens, and many volunteer hours to helping our community.

Two local projects started by our congregation continue every day to bless people.  The Infant and Toddler Pantry reaches mothers and children with basic necessities (baby food, clothing, diapers and more).  The church also planted a butterfly garden at the Cornerstone Hospice facility which brightens the days of patients, families and staff.

The Congregational Church decided upon it's formation to covenant to give at least 10% of our General Fund budget to mission causes.  We have kept that promise and continue to surpass that goal.

"Changing our world through the love of Christ."

March Mission Project Is Send International

Send is an interdenominational faith mission agency with over 600 missionaries in more than 20 countries of Asia, Europe and North America.

At SEND they envision a massive movement of cross-cultural ambassadors who are mobilizing God’s people and engaging the unreached in order to establish reproducing churches.

Evangelizing the Unreached
SEND missionaries use a variety of outreach methods to meet unbelievers and bring them to a saving faith in Jesus Christ.

Nurturing Disciples
SEND missionaries strive to disciple new believers into responsible, reproducing Christians who will form reproducing churches.

Developing Leaders
SEND is committed to train, teach and develop leaders in every place of ministry, under the accountability and authority of the local church.
Your gifts during the month of March will help send men and women throughout the world to proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ.
Thanks for caring and sharing with those who are hungry to hear.
